This site is a place to experiment with ways of sharing information, ideas, folklore, wisdom and criticism related to the Montessori method of education.

On the wiki is a discussion about design patterns and how they might be useful in sharing different kinds of Montessori know-how. There's also a page of Montessori web sites.

The blog on this site contains random thoughts I'm putting down as I attend a teacher training course at the Montessori Institute of Milwaukee.

To experiment with Moodle (which bills itself as a constructivist course management system), I've loaded up some of the courses I developed and taught online for the Center for Talent Development at Northwestern. I basically transferred the stuff I had on Blackboard. I really need to take a look at the Moodle Features Demo Course when I have some time. Maybe August 2007...
